I picked this up for our monthly circle and finished it long before the meeting. The dialogue is doing real work here; characters reveal themselves through what they avoid saying. Easily a highlight of my reading list.

Full of small, exact details
This arrived at exactly the right point in my reading year. Every secondary character feels like they have a life off the page. Some readers will want more from the ending. Worth every hour.

I did not see that coming
